History
EgoKiefer AG was established in 1932 in Altstätten in the valley of the Rhine, in the Canton of St. Gallen. Its history, spanning 75 years, is reflected in the company name. The company was founded by the Zurich entrepreneur Ernst Göhner (“Ego”). In 1976 the company merged with Fenster Kiefer AG, which at the time was Switzerland’s second-largest manufacturer of windows (“Kiefer”).
The name “EgoKiefer“ has become synonymous not only with quality and experience in production and marketing, but also with innovative strength: in this industry sector, EgoKiefer has time and again achieved new milestones with its innovations.
